Do you like to sleep in, have a hard time getting the kids moving in the morning, or simply prefer to do things later in the day?
If you answered “yes,” then our Afternoon Express Rafting trips are the perfect fit for your schedule! You can arrive as late as 1 pm midweek or 3 pm on weekends to take advantage of our 1/2 day whitewater rafting trips. These half day rafting trips run on the same 8-mile, Class I and II, section of the Lehigh River as our Family Style Whitewater Rafting trips but you will not stop for lunch. Rafting Trip FAQ
How many people fit in each raft?
Most of our rafts accommodate 4 to 7 people.
What if my group has fewer than four people?
If you have fewer than four, you may be teamed up with other rafting guests to fill out the raft.
Is lunch included on the Afternoon Express trip?
No. Express family rafting trips do not include the free BBQ lunch and will bypass the lunch stop due to the later arrival time.
What if I want a trip that includes lunch?
If you prefer a longer trip that includes lunch, we recommend our Family Style Whitewater Rafting trip.
What if I forget something I need for the trip?
No problem. Our rafting retail shop carries essentials you may have left behind.
What kind of footwear do I need?
Wear shoes that will not fall off, such as old sneakers or water shoes. Bare feet, flip-flops, slides, and slippers are not permitted.
Will photos be available from my rafting adventure?
Yes. We take photos on the river and you can purchase them in our store at the end of the day or online at PoconoWhitewaterPhotos.com.

We do not accept reservations made through third-party booking sites. All bookings must be made directly with us or through our approved lodging partners.
